(1) The Company was listed on 5 November 2003. The Company was formed
under the name of Xi'an Haitian Communications Equipment Co., Ltd. as a
limited liability company on 13 October 1999 and reorganised as the
Company on 11 October 2000.
(2) The calculation of the basic earning per share is based on the
unaudited net profit for the nine months ended 30 September 2004 of
approximately RMB5,419,000 (2003: approximately RMB22,705,000) and the
number of 647,058,824 shares in issue (2003: 500,000,000)
No diluted earning per share has been presented because there is no
potential diluting securities outstanding during either period.
